To all our Hunting Friends:
By the time, this newsletter hits the website the New Year will be
here. One thing we know for sure is the elk and deer are having
their way as we have had very little snow again this winter. There
is less than an inch of hard-crusted snow in the yard and the south
slopes are bare ground ¾ of the way up the mountain. The animals can
be right on top of the mountain if they choose to.
We had guys come back that have been here before and had a great
time. It’s always fun to keep the friendships going and rekindle the
old stories.
Then there are the 1st timers. It’s one of the things about our type
of business we are always meeting new people. It’s one of the neat
things about outfitting and guiding. It keeps things interesting.
Anyone that has hunted with us before knows that after 6 days of
hunting there will be some big stories to be told and more than
likely some pictures to back them up. In the photo gallery, you will
see pictures of some nice trophy animals taken this past fall.
Trophy quality and hunting percentages are holding well with easy
winters for a long time now. The animals haven’t had any set backs
in the area that we hunt. We are expecting another great hunting
season for 2010 and once again sending our clients home with great
trophy animals.
For those of you hunting with us this past fall you know Ben and
Renna both had goat tags for this area. Both were successful in
taking nice Billy goats.
We would like to mention the outfitter sponsored license. This
license is going to drop in price. It will be $1250 this coming
year. It is a guaranteed license as long as you book with an
outfitter and have your applications in to the state by March 15th.
We have openings for 2010, so if you’re interested in hunting with
us, give us a call and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you
may have.
Good Hunting,
Ben & Jeff
